Lockie Ferguson, a pacer from New Zealand, will be substituted by Matt Fisher for the remaining duration of the Twenty20 International series against India. The fourth Twenty20 International between the teams will take place at Eden Park on October 30.

According to a statement from New Zealand Cricket, Lockie Ferguson experienced discomfort in his right calf during the second Twenty20 International at Hagley Oval. Subsequently, scans revealed a low-grade tear.

It is anticipated that he will require an additional week to fully recover before returning to the field.

Nevertheless, Matt Henry also suffered a low-grade tear in his right quadriceps during the second Twenty20 International. The injury is expected to recover within one to two weeks.

Henry is scheduled to participate in the upcoming five-match ODI series, despite being placed on the sidelines due to planned workload management. Kyle Jamieson will remain in Wellington and be made available for the Ford Trophy second round on Saturday, October 31, prior to his return to the national squad for the ODI series on Monday.
